Fixed Payment Codes

FPCs are payment codes tied to specific accounts. FPCs can be either single-use or multiple-use. All payment codes can only be used as “closed” payments (i.e. only accepting a single expected amount).

Non-Fixed Payment Codes

NFPCs are payment codes tied to a specific invoice. All payment codes can only be used as “closed” payments.

Prefix

Prefix will serve as an additional merchant identifier for Retail Outlets or Over-the-Counter (OTC) payments. Merchant must set a 3 - 6 character string that will be added to the front of every payment code created. Prefix can be set up during product activation. Here is the example prefix and payment codes combination.

Dynamic Descriptor

This feature allows for the merchant name (rather than Xendit’s name) to show up on the cashier’s system when the end customer makes payment. When the end customer gets to the retail outlet store, they will say they are making a payment to ‘merchant name’, then present the payment code. This feature is standard for all merchants.

Dynamic Description

This feature allows for the merchant to set a custom support message in the footer of the end customer’s payment receipt. As default, the end customer will see Xendit’s customer support contact details in the receipt footer. We advise merchants to set their receipt footer to improve their end customers’ user experience.
