Our Global Account enables you to make currency conversions for your business operations. Conversions may be standalone, or as part of a cross border payout flow. Please check which currency balances are eligible for conversion or a cross border payout.

How to convert

Converting between currency balances with your Xendit Global Account involves two steps:

  1. Top up your balance

  2. Create a conversion

Converting between currencies

To convert between currencies directly from the Dashboard:

  1. Navigate to your homepage or your Balance page

  2. Click Convert

  3. Choose the source and destination currency balances for conversion. Your destination currency must be one of your open currency balances.

  4. Enter the amount you want to convert

    1. You may specify either the source amount or the destination amount.

    2. You’ll be quoted a rate for that currency pair, as well as the amount you’ll receive. The rate refreshes after 30 seconds.

  5. Click Save & Next

  6. Review your Conversion details, then click Convert

    Exchange rate may update automatically

    The exchange rate may have been updated automatically with the latest rate after 30 seconds. By clicking Convert, you are accepting the updated rate.

  7. Enter your PIN to confirm the conversion. If you’ve not created a PIN before, you’ll be prompted to create a new PIN at this stage.

  8. You’ll immediately receive the converted amount in your destination currency balance upon completion of the flow. Xendit charges no fees for conversion and uses market competitive FX rates.

  9. You may track your conversions in the Transactions page. You may also download our reports to reconcile your conversions.
