Topping up your Xendit balance is how you add funds for payouts and other money-out transactions. It's important to know that top-ups are not for receiving payments from your customers.

How to top up

  1. On your Dashboard, go to Balance

  2. Click Top Up

  3. Select your preferred top-up method

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the top-up

Always follow the top-up instructions carefully to prevent delays. Once you've made a transfer, you can check its status by going to DashboardBalance History and filtering by Top Up. Only successful top-ups will appear here, and you'll receive a confirmation email when the funds are credited.

Topping up with foreign currency

If you need to add funds to your Xendit account from a foreign currency account, you have two main options.

Option 1: Foreign Currency Top-Up (USD to Local Balance)

This method is for funding your local balance directly from a USD account. With this option, you get to approve the exchange rate before the money is converted.

How it works:

  1. Send a USD wire transfer to the designated Xendit bank account for your region

  2. Email help@xendit.co with your proof of transfer, the USD amount, and your business name

  3. Our team will send you a real-time exchange rate quote via email or WhatsApp. You must approve this quote within 24 hours.

  4. Once approved, the funds will be converted and credited to your local balance

Option 2: Cross-Border Top-Up to an IDR Balance

This method is used when you want to top up your IDR balance from a foreign currency account. You have two ways to do this:
