What happens if I don't receive a callback?

If you haven't received a callback after a transaction, there are a few steps you can take:

1. Advise the Customer to Contact Their Issuer:

  • The customer should contact their QRIS issuer (the bank or wallet app they used to scan the QR code).
  • They should request a reversal of the transaction. Due to current regulations, reversals initiated by the customer are more likely to be successful than those from the merchant.
  • The funds should be returned to the customer within a few days as the transaction will be considered invalid

2. Offer Alternative Payment Methods:

  • While waiting for the reversal, suggest that the customer complete their payment using a different method besides QR.

3. Report to Xendit:

  • Please report this issue to Xendit immediately. We will investigate the problem with our QRIS partner and notify you when it's safe to resume accepting QR payments.

Important Note: Callback failures can be caused by various factors, including network issues or problems on the issuer's end. By following these steps, you can help ensure a smooth resolution for your customers.
