[Internal] Current and future phases on the Regional Account

Last updated: 23 June 2025

The Xendit regional account is presently live with Wallex, our EMI partner in Singapore. However, given that our very own EMI license will potentially come in July for Xendit Payments Singapore, we are taking immediate steps to off-board from Wallex.

This means that all customers onboarding to the regional account going forward will be onboarded directly onto XPS. There are some features that were previously available on Wallex which will no longer be available today. Please refer to the table below for reference.

The first customer we’ve onboarded to the regional account on XPS is XTransfer. We are now making preparations to onboard all foreign merchants to the regional account from end-July 2025. The 2 big phases after that would be the Hong Kong market launch as well as the Singapore market launch.

These have their own timelines and are considered outside of the scope of the launches:

  1. XenPlatform

  2. Autowithdrawals (at risk, may not be able to squeeze in on top of everything above)

  3. Extending JPM FX integration to more flows to replace batch trades (AutoFX is likely the easiest / highest impact given the frequency)

  4. Global payouts on payout API v3
