Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel Set Up

Xendit provides you with step by step on how to set up your analytic tools and events that can be tracked starting from when the end customer arrives at your checkout page, until they finish their payment.

Before we begin the set up, we have to look at events that we provide:

After understanding what kind of events that you can track, then you can move on to set up your Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel by inputting your Google Analytics ID and Facebook Pixel ID in Checkout Settings from your Xendit dashboard.

The next question is, how can you get your Google Analytics ID and Facebook Pixel ID? These are the steps you need to do prior to get your ID:

Google Analytics

  • Go to analytics.google.com.
  • Fill the form account name, property name, timezone, currency, business size etc (few details are not mandatory.
  • Accept Terms & Conditions, then choose web platform.
  • On the next pop-up enter page url as checkout.xendit.co and give it a name.
  • On the next page your Google Analytics ID will be displayed.

Facebook Pixel

  • Open business.facebook.com.
  • Clicks on Events Manager.
  • Click on Connect Data.
  • Select “Web”.
  • Enter a name for your analytics project.
  • You can ignore website name or simply enter checkout.xendit.co
  • Click close (no need to proceed to the next section since we just need the ID and integration is already implemented).
  • On the left panel find the Pixel ID below the name of the project.
