We are not accepting new Xero integrations at this time and feature development has been halted due to partnership limitations. We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope we can work on Xero again in the future.
What is Xero
Xero is a cloud-based accounting software designed for small businesses. Easy to use, Xero uses the best of the web and mobile to allow small businesses to manage their finances anytime, anywhere. It also enables collaboration with accountants and bookkeepers in one online platform.
Why integrate Xero with Xendit
Integrating Xero account with Xendit provides several benefits, such as:
- Getting paid faster - easily create a payable invoice and link it with a payment method where your customer can choose: Mandiri, BNI, BRI, or Credit Cards.
- Able to accept payments from various local Indonesian banks
- Keeping track of incoming transactions from multiple channels and automatically record it in the journal
- Skip months of integration with each payment channel or gateways and enable seamless multi-payment channel in just a few steps.
Integration with Xero
There are two types of integrations: back-end integration and custom URL.
Backend integration means that the invoice is created from Xendit dashboard or from an instruction coming from your back-end system. Upon payment, invoice and journal entries will be recorded in Xero in automatic and real-time manner. The graph below shows a high level process of Xendit-Xero backend integration.
Custom URL Integration
Custom URL integration means that the invoice is created from Xero instead of from the Xendit dashboard or your own backend system. Xendit acts as payment method option for your customer. Upon payment, Xero’s invoice status will be updated and journal entries will be automatically posted to Xero account. The graph below shows a high level process of Xendit-Xero custom URL integration:
