# Paynow QR

PayNow QR is an electronic payment method in Singapore that allows users to make instant, direct bank transfers to merchants or other individuals. Payments are made by scanning a unique QR code using any participating bank's mobile banking app or e-wallet app, making it highly interoperable across different financial institutions.

## Payment flow

**Mobile banking**

1. On the checkout page, select **SGQR**as payment method
2. A QR code will appear on the screen
3. Open your mobile banking or e-wallet app, then find the **Scan QR Code** feature
4. Point your phone camera at the QR code
5. Make sure the payment amount and merchant is correct
6. Confirm payment
