You can use xenPlatform to onboard merchants in many different countries, accept payments on their behalf and automate fund flows between your own account and your merchants.

Qualification & Partnership Models

After you submit a request to activate xenPlatform, we will qualify your use case based on the information you submitted. Different capabilities will be granted or restricted based on this qualification process. The following shows all the different partnership models we typically support with xenPlatform:

Services merchants who want to sell their goods & services through the Platform.

  • Create sub-accounts and submit verification information on behalf of merchants

  • Platform processes payments on behalf of sub-accounts and pays out funds to the merchants

Payment Gateway Resellers

Offers merchants access to payments in many countries. Uses Xendit’s payment capabilities to expand their offering.

  • Create sub-accounts and submit verification information on behalf of merchants

  • Allow sub-accounts to use the master account’s payment channels to transact (inheritance)

  • Platform processes payments on behalf of sub-accounts and pays out funds to the merchant

Channel or Distribution Partnership

Grants merchants access to Xendit’s payment capabilities and earns based on commissions or margins

  • Create sub-accounts and submit verification information on behalf of merchants

  • Sub-accounts receive payments from end-customers, while the Master account charges fees using Transfers or Split payments

  • Sub-accounts can withdraw their share to their registered bank accounts

  • The master account itself earns fees and commissions and do not process transactions themselves

Fund flows between accounts

  • The Master account is able to receive and send funds with multiple balances: USD, SGD, IDR, PHP, THB, VND

  • Open more balances to receive funds from matching sub-account currencies

  • Use Split payments to automate the calculation and fund transfer between accounts

  • Use Transfers for ad-hoc fund movements or customize the calculation and execution via API

  • Transfers between different currencies are not supported. Funds must be converted to the destination currency before executing a Transfer

  • Split payments must be set between accounts with the same currency

Sub-account channel activation process

  • Activate more payment channels from the sub-account Dashboard

  • No API for channel activation

Withdrawal setup

  • Setup bank accounts for withdrawal from the sub-account Dashboard

  • No API for withdrawal

Reseller & Partnership models

  • Use Split payments or Transfers to charge fees to sub-accounts for every settled transaction.

  • All Split payments and Transfers are visible to your sub-accounts.
